JonaBullets pm, 9 February He guys and girls I've had my D90 for a while-ish now. I did some reading xetected PTP Driver creation msdn. Ive researched it every where and yet to find a working answer I'm hoping that some one here can help me I'm so lost. Grrrr Also to add. I've noticed when I plug it into my Vista OS Publish Preview.
From what I remember you can't cobtrol that on the D It's a menu option on the D Firstly - does Vista detect your camera at all? It should appear in My Computer as a Imaging device or appear in Device manager.

Ive looked black and blue in the menu option. Edit: Even taking the SD card out oesnt work either. Make sure to update to version 2. Michael mrubin nikon. JonaBullets 14 years ago. My D was not recognised until i upgraded. Maybe un-install and re-install r2. Make sure Vista is nikon camera control pro 2 no camera was detected free taking over the camera--probably need to hit the control panel and the Digital Camera tab. I do have SP1 installed But I have читать больше tried this on XP as well installing the software before plugging camera in still nothing.
The PTP driver will list the camera as a Camera device. If the camera is in Mass Storage it will not be detected because it lists it as a Removable Device. I have replyed back to themask for a step-by-step to find it NKRemote and diyphotobitscom they bot connect to the camera and take pics.
Damon Photography 13 years ago. I had the same error after I installed the trial version of Camera Control Pro 2 from the Источник website.
After hours of searching and reading hints about PTP settings and possible driver issues, it turns out I just needed to upgrade CCP2 to the latest version and then everything was fine. The camera was recognized right away by Nikon camera control pro 2 no camera was detected free and then you can start using Live View from the feee and your pictures save straight to your hard drive instead of the chip in the camera.
It's really cool to be able to see right away if you got a good shot or not instead of relying on the camera's screen. A couple other notes o The website for the trial version calls out that only 32 bit versions of Windows are supported but I haven't had issues yet on 64 bit Vista with SP1.
Bullets: I hope you finally got it to work After making sure I had the most current version now nikon camera control pro 2 no camera was detected free.
